Classic Fried Green Tomatoes

Green tomatoes are a great sign that fall is on its way. The cooler weather delivers an abundance of these unripe tomatoes. They are a more firm tomato with a tangy flavor that changes things up from the red tomatoes that filled the summertime menus.
